SV	En verwerp de vragen, die dwaas en zonder lering zijn, wetende, dat zij twistingen voortbrengen.

ASV	But foolish and ignorant questionings refuse, knowing that they gender strifes.
BE	And put away foolish and uncontrolled questionings, seeing that they are a cause of trouble.

Darby	But foolish and senseless questionings avoid, knowing that they beget contentions.

Sch	Die törichten und unziemlichen Streitfragen aber meide, da du weißt, daß sie nur Streit erzeugen.
